Just to let you know why I haven't done as you requested. Up until Kobo asked me do a factory reset on my Kobo, just about everything was fine. The only thing I had noticed was that the home page told me I had finished 3 books when I had actually only read 2.
If I had known the problems I was going to have, I would never have followed their instructions to reset it.
Anyway with all the problems I was having, I eventually followed the instructions on the Kobo website and started transferring my books via Adobe Digital Editions. Of course it meant I had to set up the collections on my Kobo Touch. Apart from the fact my collections were not in alphabetical order (although they had been before I did the factory reset), everything was fine, if a bit time consuming.
I then set up an Incident Report with Kobo Customer Care regarding the ordering of the collections. I had sent them all the information regarding my Touch and they have just got back to me. This was their reply-

We thank you for that response. We have attempted all trouble shooting steps and the issue has not been resolved. In light of this fact we can replace the device for you.

Please let us know your response.
Obviously, it suits me to get a replacement, which I have advised them of.
Just waiting for a reply.
