You should start a thread in the Calibre Companion forum and take a little time and read through the CC FAQ.

Also check the settings menu in the CC app.

I have 10,000 books on my device and it took CC less than three minutes to connect to calibre as a device. Getting those books on the device takes time but it is a one time investment of my time.

If you use CC then you have no need of altering the filename or looking at the books through Moon+Reader. You also have no need to import the books into Moon+Reader.

I use the Use book ID as filename option so I have no idea which book is which using the filename. The point of using CC is quick easy access to your books through an excellent visual interface.
