Actually, he was always like that. On that picture he is 8 weeks old, now he is 6 months, but still a very laid back dog and not "exciteable" like most other puppys. It's a breed thing... Bernese is a very calm and easy going race.
On the puppy-class we are attending everyone is amazed that when the other puppies go haywire and run around in circles, Max just sits next too me and looks at them. And whenever there is a break in the class, he always lies down and more or less goes to sleep... Bernese style (On their back, legs pointing everywhich way... also a breed thing, they all sleep like that very often)
