Thanks for the reply.

If I insert the card while the Kobo is running I get a message that states, "We couldn't recognize your Micro SD card. Please format it to FAT32 and try again."

It is formatted to FAT32 using my computer's in-built formatter, SD formatter and formatting the card while it's in the Kobo but no joy.
