When are you inserting the SD card? There is a bug in the recent firmware that means the N905 Touch doesn't read the SD card if it is inserted when the device is restarted. If you insert the card while the device is running, it works perfectly. It is annoying, but I don't usually notice it as I rarely power my Kobo's off.

I know this affects the N905. I think it will also affect the N905B. I'm not sure about the N905C.
