Every loved pet is beautiful! Or cute depending on it's disposition.

I never ever thought I would pay such an absurd price for a cat, but as I've said before the hybrids are much easier on my allergies and giving up cats is just as impossible for me as giving up tea or books. We were lucky and during the interview process the breeder got really excited that my husband works with computers so they cut a nice deal in exchange for him cleaning up their virus problem. I still think a lynx point (light tan with some red) Siamese mixed up with a light tabby pattern is the most beautiful cat combination ever and I have met several in shelters, but sadly anything remotely Siamese makes me break out in hives and my eyes swell shut so I can only look.

Slite, if you like the Norwegian Forest cat, which is most impressive, you may find a Pixie Bob of interest. It is a fairly new hybrid breed, and started as Bobcats that came down into the residential areas of Seattle, WA ended up breeding with housecats and the some of the results are quite startling. I have not met one yet, but my niece thinks they are wonderful (and also easy on her allergies like my Bengals). One of the founders of the breed is at www.pixiebobs.com. Be sure to look at the Gallery pictures for the best examples.
