If you use jpg and jpeg, you can probably have two images, as both are valid jpg exensions. You can add a bmp, png, gif, whatever you like. Even .lnk and .url -- BetterRed knows all about this. 
Using fake extensions like .jpg1 .jpg2 will also get tracked, but those extensions won't be recognized when you try to open them. You'll need to rename or associate the extension manually.
The rule is, one of each file extension per book record can be added into the database. And then calibre will track it. |
