I moved 22 times before I was 21, but only 3 times since. This last time I did have to get rid of over half my books It's why I don't feel so guilty rebuying some of them in digital. But I went from an entire wall of bookshelves to only 1-1/2 cases. It was liberating in some ways, but...
Hey all, Reading about moving many times, I had to tell you about my favorite aunt who is 91 years old. She is living in her 37th house! My late uncle was a General in the Air Force. They lived all over the world including Morocco in the early 1960's. (The home movies from there are amazing!) Back in the 1940's and 1950's, they often moved more than once in a year. Two of my four cousins attended 4 high schools. I know the military moved and packed them, but my aunt can move into a house and have it all unpacked, decorated, and organized in 2 weeks! I've seen it many times. Somehow that organization gene skipped me.... Happy Reading! Joan
