I don't remember if it was Over the Edge or Out of Control, but one of those was the first book I read in this series - picked them both up at a used bookstore and didn't realize they were part of a series.

I also loved them. Then went back and bought the first ones - and at the time, I was so glad I'd read them out of order, because I probably wouldn't have gone any further on the basis of the first one.

I burned out on the series after Gone Too Far, although I know I borrowed one or two after that one from the library.
