Patricia Wentworth's Miss Silver mysteries are starting to make it to eBook. They are PD in some places, but not in others, and IAC there are good versions available for cheap. I'm currently reading
Case is Closed, #2 in the series. I had read it years ago, but have forgotten almost all the plot so enjoying it quite a bit again.
