Lifelong time bookworm, who has just ordered a Kobo Aura HD as my first dedicated e-reader. using my phone was just bad on the eyes for e-books.

It was a tough decision between the Kobo and a Kindle Paperwhite II. Time will tell if I made the right choice.

I chose the Aura HD for it's screen, sd-card slot and the ability to hack the crap out of it.

I actually intend using it as an Android device and (depending what Android does to the battery life) I doubt I'll do very much with the stock Kobo software beyond initial update & registration.
