In my case it was definitely the card. I don't know what exactly is wrong with it, but it is a bum card (my phone is having issues with the card as well). My drain started when I put the card in (although since I have also upgraded firmware at the same time I have wrongfully attributed the the drain to the upgrade) and it stopped when I pulled it out.
