That's true, BUT the new ADE doesn't preclude a new e-ink reader (or firmware update to fix old ones) that will make it work. A CD is never going to be able to be played on a record player. And you'll still be able to read the same file on a new e-ink ereader as a tablet, so it doesn't kill the market for ereaders.
