My NOOK Tablet lived in a tri-fold leather case with one large and 5 small pockets, in which I saved:
. A $20 bill
. An airline baggage tag with my name and contact info on it
. A bookmark that triples as a ruler and magnifying glass
. My BN Member card (which I've purposely let lapse)
. Business cards collected that day, that I need to scan into my electronic address book
. Dry cleaners and shoe repair pick-up receipts
. A microfibre cleaning cloth
. Handwritten instructions for rebooting the NT, when it froze or wouldn't start, and for other nifty NT tricks
. Occasional handwritten notes or lists not entered into an app
. Printed instructions from my library for sideloading books (no longer needed)
. Upcoming dental/medical/optical appointment cards
When I replaced the NT, I couldn't find a similar tri-fold case for the NOOK HD and settled for a dual-fold case with a single large inside pocket. That new pocket now holds the:
. $20 bill
. airline baggage tag with my name and contact info on it
. bookmark that triples as a ruler and magnifying glass
. occasional handwritten lists and notes not entered into an app

I now also carry a small electronics case that serves both my NOOK and smartphone. It contains:
.Another $20 bill and airline baggage tag
.Some items previously carried in the NT case: appointment cards, business cards, handwritten notes/lists, microfibre cloth, pick-up receipts for the dry cleaners and shoe repair
.An I/O Magic Portable Power Pack
.The power cords for my devices
.A stylus (rarely used)
.A thumb drive
