This is so strange it is almost funny. I sent the following problem to nookpress:

Subject: Customer Support Email
Language: en-US
User ID: 52884
Category/Issue: Creating a Project
Project Title: {redacted}
Email: {redacted}
Message: Two problems.
1. I was unable to upload an html file of 16.04 Megabytes.
When I changed it to .doc format (to make it smaller) I could
not upload the 9.3 Megabyte .doc file. (I have to cut and paste
in chapters. It is taking days.)
2. There is a lot of space at the end of each chapter.
Enough blank space to cover three screen views. When I
delete the space and do a save, It appears again. On
the original (my copy) there is only three lines of space
at the end of each chapter. Will the large blank space
appear in the final publishing?

Today, four days later, I got this reply:
Quote:
John,
We recommend that you put your Project on sale as a NOOK Book.
Once it is on sale, you can click "Download ePub" from the Manuscript page of your Project to download the file that customers receive when making a purchase.
Sincerely,

Uh, right... To fix the problems I am having uploading the book in pieces, I should publish the book and download a copy.
