I think 3" or 4" would be better to carry.

All these can be shown properly on mono eink screen.
I don't need color or useless motion effect,
I just need clear information and fast speed.
Can they?
20 years ago they(except map) can be got from old Beeper.
I often see people on beach with an ereader instead of tablet, so they often take an ereader on vacation.
If they read on beach, they would also look up weather and book flight.
If the ereader can do these, they would not put more devices in their heavy luggage.
So I can say they never heed this, so they never develop for tourists
and backpackers.
They ignore the essential advantage of eink screen, outdoor & under sunshine!
