That would be great. Unfortunately those of us who feel that way, aren't the one starting these threads. I just jump in the middle.

That would be a much kinder way to handle it.

But again, someone else is bound to come along and start another thread without knowing to use the word "rumor" in the subject. If it's not possible to change the subject, could you at least make your reminders fewer and less like a scolding? After all, the people on the receiving end of a response aren't the ones responsible for starting the thread.
