I reckon the issue at Kobo is because at first only vol.1 and vol.3 were available. When the author got in touch with someone to make vol.2 available too, that someone may have mixed up vol.2 and vol.3.

By the way, I just started Divergent since for once I want to finish the book before the movie release (just in case I want to see it on a whim).
