Unfortunately I do not have an original white box, I don't store that stuff forever, just the Cybook flimsy box. However, I already went out and gotten a good cardboard box from Staples, and an excellent plastic snap box, that fits Cybook that was put in a bubble mailer and wrapped in some bubble wrap over that. Actually, that snap box could have served well as additional cover for Cybook, preventing any twisting, as it is quite sturdy - I happened upon it totally by chance looking for packaging, and as it was $1.79 I got it. That is in a cardboard box stuffed with those springy paper thingies (in case peanuts create static damage, who knows). I did not include any accessories, or cards (actually card was taken out to be used on my Axim, as most books were html and Mobi formats), even the cover stays. I will go to the post office tomorrow and will see what happens. I hope I will not have to use a special International Priority box, as I already wrapped that thing up tight as it is. It's swaddled in shipping tape and unpacking it now would be a job of itself. My Post Office is friendly, though, so I am sure they can work with what I have

.
Other than that I will keep my fingers crossed, although I still don't have much hope. As I kind of became less upset about it over the time, I began to feel curious about that invisible fracture thing. I think I won't have it fixed if Bookeen claims screen fracture. That would just not pay. However, I will ask them to send me a photo of the screen with a fracture and compare it to the photos and scans I have of it now. As I am not in EU, but in US, I don't know if Bookeen will pay for shipping if the repairs are covered under warranty (I mean reimburse me for shipping), but I will first find out if an invisible fracture still qualifies as a fracture.
Thank you all for the help and words of hope

. I will let you know what happens as soon as it happens.
