Yes, and it will be applied to the highest-priced item in your cart that does not already have a promo code on it. In the event of a tie, I believe it just goes for the first item on the page.

If all items have codes and you enter a better one, only then will it kick out an already-entered code. Removing a promoed book will also remove its coupon; the code will not be reassigned. Finally, each code can only be used once per cart, even if it's a multiuse code.

I think that covers everything...
