This is not a thread where I've posted before in my short history of posting on the forum, but I felt like I had to share this with you.
There is a large number of free cookbooks at
http://www.preparedpantry.com/free-d...-and-more.aspx. I can't vouch for the quality, really, and haven't checked to see how most of them are rated on Amazon. I've seen several of the titles floating around on this and other websites, but not all of them by a long shot.
It looks like none of the books are available as .mobi on this site. All of them, it looks like, are available as .pdf and .epub. Some are even available as .docx or .doc.
However, I think that I have seen several of these titles available--free--on Amazon's site, so some or all may somehow be available there, as .mobi of course.
Unfortunately, to get each book you have to go through an annoying add to cart and confirm item procedure. When you're ready to check out, you'll need to divulge some personal information like your mailing address and phone number, but you don't have to set up an account. Then, you can download each individual book in your preferred format.
