The LRF format is the best for the reader. However, some say ePub is better... depends on who you talk to.

Personally I think using calibre is your best bet. It allows you to sort your ebooks by various methods. Or did you mean cataloged on the device?

Problem? No. However, you will probably need to strip the DRM in order to convert and use on the Sony. However, this is pretty easy to do. Most popular stores seem to be fictionwise.com and booksonboard.com.

Once again pretty easy. Also, many sites already have the LRF and/or ePub formats so no conversion would be needed.
