I don't think there is a device which combines e-ink and Android OS but I might be interested if there is. I have used a couple of ereader apps on Android tablets (Moonreader was one of them) and they allowed me to colour the screen and darken it a bit: I preferred a parchment colour for less eye strain. For me one of the disadvantages of Android devices is that they tend to be heavier than ereaders and this is noticeable if you read for a long period of time. On the other hand their size makes it easier to read PDFs.
