What can I expect after jailbreaking?

Hi all, I took the dive and bought a PW2. I do not wish to give amazon free reign over the data on my device, so I have decided I am going to jailbreak. I also want collections and possibly wikipedia as other reasons to jailbreak. I am not going to register the kindle with my amazon account.

This is my first Kindle, so please excuse my lack of knowledge on e-readers.

From the threads I've read, here is the gist of what I am planning to do:

1) Install jailbreak using universal method
2) Install Kual pre-requisites and then install kual
3) Install BBB filter
4) Install Calibre

I have a few questions:

1) What happens if a new Amazon software update comes out and I decide to update? Will my jailbroken device gracefully accept this update or will I have to do some other things to get it to work. In other words, what are the consequences I can expect after apply an Amazon update to my jailbroken device?

1.1) Should I NOT install any new Amazon software updates until it is known to be compatible with current jailbreaking software (ie, KUAL, MKK, etc...)?

2) How do I create collections on my device if it is not registered?

3) Can someone explain like I'm 5 years old how to manage the BBB filter? I wish to block any phoning home attempts by Amazon, as well as disallowing Amazon from downloading any new software updates onto my Kindle. The BBB filter forum thread mentioned that the filter rules will not survive if I reboot my Kindle, so what is the proper way of restarting it?

4) Are there any consequences to updating a section of the jailbroken apps? For example, if KUAL comes out with a new update, will this require a new update for jailbreak-1.9, or BBB-1.0.0, etc...?

5) How much battery life will installing these jailbreak software drain from my Kindle? (ie, KUAL, MKK, jailbreak, BBB filter, etc...)

Last thing, I am aware that I can put the Kindle in airplane mode to block wireless access by Amazon, but I would like to use their built-in browser and possibly use Wikipedia. Also, I'm not sure but dictionary might need wireless. There also seems to be some cool projects dealing with wireless, which I might try out sometime, so keeping my Kindle in airplane mode isn't ideal for me.

Thanks, all!
