I'm freeloading off my brother-in-law's Prime account so I sure hope he thinks it's worth it at the new price!
Because it's not my account, I don't get free streaming or Kindle books.
For comparison, I have a yearly subscription to a local internet grocer, the price goes up every year and it's now at $119/year. Plus on any given order they can still charge me a couple bucks in a "fuel surcharge."
