Thumbs up HeLpS NeEdEd AlL oF yOu! Especially U.K and U.S members

First thank you, just for answering my help request and coming to see the thread.
I am looking forward to study English in one of the universities of U.K or U.S, I've got a BA in translation studies in my country so I'm supposed to have a fair command of English I decided to have some background readings so I read HP books quite a few times enjoying Jim Dale fantastic audio book , the Hobbit and LOTR and some classics , but I am really confused about my future readings. I don't know what to read and what am I supposed to have read when I get there, so I need your help to know WHAT should I read, the ORDER of reading those books (since it's better to read more difficult books later when I get a better understanding of English literature by reading easier books) and a knowledge concerning the importance of those books. I can read continuously for a long time (16 hours on a go), so feel free to add more books if you think they may not be essential. One more point, if there is any audiobook available(esp in American accent)for those books please inform me since it has always been a great experience. Thank you in advance.
Any additional information will also be appreciated.
