I find Futura bold enough, but I'd wager finding a decent bold sans font won't be very hard. I like Futura, and I'm not a big fan of sans in general, so, again, not much help there .
As for Caecilia, you can look at the Google Fonts Directory for other serif slabs, but I'm partial to Museo Slab, FWIW . |
I wanted a bolder sans font too and found Accidental Presidency (
http://www.dafont.com/accidental-presiden.font) which is my current reading choice. Its best feature is its "slimness" - the opposite of your hated Helvetica.
