You know what they say... there ain't no security through obscurity. By keeping the SDK away from the crowd, they won't make the system any more secure. On the contrary, if hackers find out that the SDK is being kept away due to security issues, it's just one more incentive for them to start attacking the iRex.

Hmm, I even considered getting a Chinese unit first, since it's probably going to sell for less than the "Dutch" version. The question is, of course, would I still be able to upgrade with an English firmware? I am afraid I already know the answer to that ;(
