I don't use the Star site... but on the Ottawa Citizen site "Export to ereader" works great. Today, for example, I exported two days worth of newspapers and put them on my Aura HD. The Citizen uses pressreader just like the Star does.

So I'm afraid I'm not much help. Sorry.
