Books give you ideas and shape the way you think about things. Reading Margaret George's 'The Autobiography of Henry VIII' sparked an interest in history and inspired me to pick up other books. Not so much a revolution as an evolution but bit by bit I started learning about the past. Has it changed my life? Not in an earth shattering way, but it has influenced where I go on holiday, where I visit in my spare time and how I spend spare hours.
