The Sigil Blog notes that Sigil development has no active developers.

Until or unless someone steps forward, there will be no further development effort.

This is another way of saying: 'If it (version 7.4) is now broken, it will stay broken'.

This forum will continue as long as there are users that need assistance using the current Sigil and Mobileread wishes to host this group.
