Perhaps we should avoid using the marketing terms then, and just say it's rated for ~28 hrs.
Now there's a meaningfully useful statement!
Of course, I don't think I've ever charged my Kindle... well, maybe once or twice... I connect it to my computer for various reasons at least once every few days, which is more than enough.
