1) Yes

2) Yes. However, after Jailbreaking there is a hack (BackDoorLock) that will prevent silent or unwanted updates. With this hack in place, you can still side-load via USB any update and install it...point is that whether to update or not becomes your decision.

3) The JailBreak is just a certificate that allows the device to recognize software bin files beyond Amazon's official ones. It can be removed, but there is really no reason to, it causes no isssues. The directions for it's removal are included in the download of the Jailbreak.

4) There are many forms of 'bricks'. ixtab has provided a 'RescuePack' hack that aids in the repair of your Kindle if it does become 'bricked' (helps get it into a Diags mode so that you have access to try to fix it). But I think what you are asking is if you can just run an official firmware update bin to unbrick a kindle PW2, the answer is a resounding no.
