Mine isn't. I have more than that on it. I find it faster than my Kobo Glo, although I think they have the same processor. I have the same books on both devices, but one has 2gb internal and the other has 4gb internal.
I have no evidence to base my suspicion that the size of the internal memory DOES make a difference.

This can be a problem on any device. It is extremely easy to manage this problem on a Kobo, using Calibre and custom columns. Simply select the tags you want to make collections or shelves in Calibre, and when you connect the device, they are made on the device. Easy to mark books such as "next in series" or "science fiction" or whatever you like. Easy to then find on the Kobo. In addition, the search function works very well, if, for example, you want to see what you have by an author on the device.

That's why I don't do it that way. I have next in series and genre type collections. If I want to see lists of books by author, I do a search. Very fast on my Kobo.
