Purely by accident, I discovered that the 30MAR14 code is working on some books that I haven't been able to use discounts on before. I've had several books on my wishlist for ages that I haven't been able to get discounted anywhere, even when "traveling." The 30MAR14 code worked on some books from Hachette and HarperCollins. When I tried discount codes on these same books at Kobo, I got the "Unable to apply promo code" error.
YMMV, but it might be worth it to try if you have any books that you've been waiting on any kind of discount on. 30% off isn't huge, but it might tip the balance.
