I think Cry No More was a bit different from anything she has ever written, and if I recall correctly it was her last book before many people thought she "jumped the shark".
One book of hers that hasn't been mentioned is To Die For, which I absolutely love, though I've read some people can't stand Blair. I adore her and re-read the book every year or so.

Yes I have read the Blair books but forgot that was her because they are so different from her romantic suspense.
In Cry No More I really like the dark hero concept. Death Angel has a similar hero but it was too wacky of a book. The Assassin hero fascinates me. I just DNF a book that I thought was totally out there. Snatched by Pamela Buford I think it's suppose to be a comedy but it was soo out there and not really funny plus you have to suspend disbelief even more you do when you read the Plum books. I just didn't have it in me to go that far once the author revealed the plots and there were many mini plots. If you have this book I recommend moving it down to the bottom of your TBR pile.
