Sadly, there was a post at hackaday about tethering 3G, with a heated discussion between the script kiddies and the kindle enthusiasts who hang out here (or did at the time of that hackaday post)...

The script kiddie path (as seen at hackaday) is fraught with peril, and learning linux is the safe way to go from here, to accomplish all sorts of kindle wizardry, while learning how to use it properly and with respect to the kindle TOS.

Such a script might be hacked to work on a wifi-only kindle (with a little new linux knowledge), however such a script should not be reposted back at these forums, nor should details about how to use or abuse it...
