I'm getting the same problem. My kindle fire via calibre companion was working with calibre on my computer with minor connection problems corrected by rebooting the kindle and restarting calibre, and sometimes my router. But yesterday nothing helped. I rebooted my computer and saw my ip address changed, so changed that in calibre companion and still can't connect to calibre. I've also tried connecting my kindle to calibre on my computer via a usb cable and calibre is not seeing the connection at all. I'm totally stumped. I can't get any books onto my kindle fire now at all. Can someone help?
