As to the Onyx C65.

I haven't installed MoonReader+, eventhough I did check out their website and noticed this is a paying app. You can sideload *.apk files on the Onyx C65, only if the file will run on Android 2.3. Maybe there is a trial version of Moonreader+ I can take for a spin?

As to COPS, if this is the same or similar feature as Calibre's Content Server, then yes you can surf to such webpages. When clicking on a link to an ebook, a dialog is presented which allows you to chose with which ereader you want to open the file.
Authentication is also handled.
