I can't think of a single book I actually regret finishing. If I made it as far as the end, there had to be something that kept me interested. Otherwise I would have quit reading it long before that.

And I've never had a book hold my interest for the entire time and then blow it badly enough (right at the end) for me to regret finishing it.

I've read books that I probably didn't really care all that much for, when all was said and done--certainly. But regret ... ? Nah. I'd never let it get that far.
