I think the coupons are probably sneaky attempts to get us to try new books that we might then become addicted to. I grabbed at least 3 authors that are new to me, that I probably wouldn't have without the big discount, and at least one of those authors has a huge backlist that I will then have to obtain if the sale books are as good as they look. Sneaky, sneaky Kobo encouraging addiction with coupons.
