You know it is with Linux... it's never really final Seriously, I cannot imagine iRex to hire some people to unpack each and every iLiad device just to run the update. Instead, they will probably include a note that upgrades are available through their wireless IDS service.

Btw, thank Henrycat for the good news, for he is the chosen one by iRex to have received a free iLiad reader!
