What is the advantage of participating in this ebook week thing over just making your book free/discounted for a limited period at other times (using coupons or whatever)? I mean: I don't expect to change my reading habits just because someone somewhere is calling a particular week "ebook week", so I have a bit of trouble seeing this as anything that useful. And if everyone else is doing the same thing at the same time, isn't the "special" pricing of you book likely to lost in the flood?

Of course I would be happy to be educated out of my ignorance on this subject.

* It's also coming at a bad time for me - I was hoping to have the third and concluding book to my series out before I started to try and do much about promotion. But I've got so much on that everything is being delayed.
