Not to be encouraged. If you *really* want to mess around with charging LiPO batteries outside of the device they are meant to be in, you need a dedicated intelligent LiPO charger that can be configured for the number of cells and cell capacity. An incorrectly charged LiPO is basically an incendiary device. If the battery is excessively discharged or has bulged at all, its unsafe to charge even on the proper charger. If you ever charge LiPOs on the bench, you need a fireproof metal bin wth a lid, lined with firebricks or thick ceramic tiles to actually do the charging in and a dry powder fire extinguisher waiting right next to it.
Why not look for a K3 with a broken screen that at least charges and turns on and make one good device out of the two?
