@tomtc How about a Reading List (← click).

Bit 'heavy handed' for one book, but there may be other books you and/or your daughter want at your finger tips. Reading lists are arbitrary, ie they are not dependent on metadata content, you can have multiple reading lists and the same book can be in more than one list.
