I want to read a DRM book in Ubuntu

Okay then! Now that I see there's a thread for this I can't wait to get started!

I got a free ebook from Kobo and set it up on my Windows computer at work. I signed up for Adobe's 'computer authorization' to read the DRM book on multiple computers, and now I want to read the book on my Xubuntu comptuer at home. I have read--here in fact--about downloading VMWare Player, and in the Ubuntu software center there is VMWare View Open Client. The advice is varied, a little redundant and not a little confusing, driving me further into Interminable Adventures in Linux Land! I just want to read the book (quick and easy). Can you give me a way of doing that? Thanks!
