Wow, now I feel almost guilty. I have ebates automatically set in my browser and Kobo is currently at 5% back. And due to some bug the ebates were calculated on the original price of the stuff I bought, rather than the discounted price. So after getting 90% off, I got another 5% off, and the 5% was calculated on original purchase price, not the discounted price, for a total of 95% off.
