Don't think of these as podcasts. They are audio books pure and simple, and very well done.
The author does a very good job with the reading.
Until I saw this thread I had totally forgotten they were podcasts. My memory is that of purely professional audio book series a la Audible or Blackstone.

In fact, on seeing this thread, when my current book (20,000 Leagues Under the Sea) is over, I might have to re-listen to Quarter Share.

(sailing under the sea classifying fish, sailing in space making coffee...same same.)
