We went out of town once and left her with a friend who had an alpha cat that had spent her younger days as a mouser on a farm. When we got back the cat was cowed and would run if the rabbit took one step (hop) toward her. According to the pet sitter, in the days that followed the cat became a very lovable "indoor" cat.

Louise was with us for thirteen years.

PS: She was my wife's rabbit and would "protect" her, even from me.
