Public Libraries and Digital Services

Public Libraries are changing to meet the demands of today's digital world. It wasn't too long ago that they had very few digital services available for download. Now, they're not only increasing their collections; but they're diversifying with other alternatives to OverDrive.

The purpose of this thread is to make us aware of and to discuss the various providers and how to check out their content. Each time I introduce a new provider in this thread, I'll index it to this post for easy referencing.

OverDrive is by far, the largest provider of ebooks and audiobooks to public libraries. Most of us are aware of it and how to use it, so I won't start there. I'll eventually get to it, though. For now, I plan to introduce some of the lesser known providers.

Let me know about providers I missed.
